Working Group


Purpose

The CBRN Security policy working group focuses on spreading awareness, generating curiosity, and encouraging debate on CBRN security policy. In hopes to provide a gender as well as a cultural lens to issues that have not adequately included diverse viewpoints. WCAPS aims to provide a platform to discuss a range of related arms control, disarmament, non- proliferation and technological issues among scholars, students, policy experts and professionals from any interested disciplines.


Objectives

  1. Knowledge creation

  2. Enhancing collaboration

  3. Promote perspective of women of color on CBRN issues control and nonproliferation issues.

Goals

  1. Conducting webinars and encouraging participation of students, young professionals and policy experts.

  2. Organizing workshops and seminars to generate rich debates.

  3. Producing policy papers and reports and conducting interviews and podcasts.

  4. Providing mentorship opportunities for mentors and mentees within the working group.
