Priya Mehta

Priya is a Project Assistant at Equanimity Foundation, Account Assistant at Wildfire Contact, and freelance podcast editor; and has experience in research, international development, community organizing, and political communications. Mehta earned her undergraduate degrees in Government and Human Development and Family Sciences, as well as her Texas Educator Certification in Social Studies, Grades 7-12 from the University of Texas at Austin. She is fluent in English and Gujarati, and has a working knowledge of Hindi and Spanish. This month, Priya wrote an article for the Third Edition of Policy Papers by Women of Color: First-Time Publishers and also served on the YAP Editorial Board. She recently joined YAP Leadership as Secretary.
