The concept of “Redefining National Security” has been a foundation for Women of Color Advancing Peace Security and Conflict Transformation (WCAPS) since the organization was established in 2017. WCAPS continues to foster discussions on this approach to national security. In doing so, WCAPS is now sponsoring an essay writing competition for high school and college students.
