Organizations in Solidarity Publication Series: Advancing Equity Series

OrgsinSolidarity, a #WCAPS Initiative, is proud to present the Organizations in Solidarity Publication Event Series! An interactive forum, allowing partners, members and topic experts to engage with OiS publications meaningfully. Each publication in the series will have a designated meeting time, where interactive discussions and workshops will take place on the corresponding subject matter.


The first installment in the series is the Advancing Equity in Mentorship Publication event. Our speakers,
Sharon Attipoe-Dorcoo, MPH, Ph.D., Kimberly Gillies (she/her) and Hadeil Ali will delve into mentorship, its impact on people of color, and best practices to promote equity-focused mentoring within peace, security, and foreign policy fields.

APSIA Diversity Forum 2023

This year's APSIA Diversity Forum will take place on July 15, 2023 at the George Washington University Elliott School School of International Affairs in Washington, D.C.

The student and young professional workshop offers US community college students, undergraduates, recent graduates, and young professionals who are historically excluded from International Affairs tailored advice on finding mentors, identifying important opportunities (such as study abroad and scholarships), and graduate school from APSIA alumni and partners.
