Deyanira J. Murga

Deyanira J Murga is an international thought leader with a passion for corporate security and crime prevention & violence. With more than 24 years of experience in corporate security and leading organizations, she has served as senior advisor to executives, consultants, and strategies in non-profit and for-profit sectors. She made history, a woman leader playing various roles within the most global organizations in the security industry changing the traditional format.

Deyanira is the Executive Director of Cerberus Consulting, an International Risk Advisory Group, Founder of Security NextGen an Edutainment non-profit 501c3 organization, and Founder of Global Security Connection a Think Tank Virtual Conference for the Modern Security Ecosystem connection. She collaborates as Board member and Advisor for International organizations and group associations focused in Security, Peace and International Cooperation. Deyanira is also the Chair of WCAPS Latin America and the Caribbean Working Group.

Deyanira is a strategist, visionary and innovative mind always in a constant transformation, and a lifelong advocate for inclusive and diversit. She has used a gender lens in her work to ensure equality and leadership opportunities for all. She has created an App for Domestic Violence through education and stories to help and support women and young girls to get easy and fast access to support and resources making an impact for the most vulnerable. In addition, she has collaborated on different books and has been quoted in articles: The Atlantic, The Dallas News, Women in Security, Security in 2025, The future of Security Industry, articles on crime prevention, and webinars.

Deyanira develops initiatives that promote young people in the areas of technology and innovation applied to crime and violence prevention to build a safe and secure future giving them the opportunity to develop start-up companies to improve economic development and social impact.
