Alma Rinasz

Alma Maria Rinasz - Originally from New York, upon completing a degree in International Relations and interning at the State Department, Alma moved to Latin America to teach. After a decade working in international education, she began a career pivot into technology. She has successfully completed a coding bootcamp thanks to the Edie Windsor Coding Scholarship and obtained a graduate degree in Education with a special recognition from the School of Psychology at the Universidad Michoacana San Nicolás de Hidalgo. Currently she volunteers with several cybersecurity organizations like Latinas in Cyber, is a member of ISACA, Women in Cybersecurity and Raices Cyber (Hispanics in Cybersecurity). Alma works as a Security and Compliance Engineer at Syndio, residing in Austin, Texas, with her family and cat.
