Anuradha Damale
Anuradha is a Research Assistant on the Verification and Monitoring Programme at VERTIC, and a member of UKPONI and Young Pugwash. She holds a Honours BSc in Physics from Durham University and an MSc in Science and Technology Policy from the Science Policy Research Unit at the University of Sussex, where she wrote her dissertation on challenging state dependencies on nuclear technologies. She is also Chair of UKSEDS, the UK's national space charity. Anu’s interests are in inclusive approaches to arms control, non-proliferation and disarmament and in space policy. She has worked on diversity and inclusion in STEM for over 5 years now, and has experience in applying this to policy.
Anu is incredibly excited and honoured to be bringing WCAPS to the UK, because she believes that inclusion is the key to effective policy.
