Jacklyn Waight
Jacklyn Waight (“Jackie”) graduated in 2018 from Whittier College with a B.A. in Child Development and Music. Currently, she is the Youth Services Coordinator at the Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC) located in Los Angeles, CA, where she plans and implements low-cost/free programming for youth in LTSC's affordable housing complexes and the greater community. She is also a Co-Chair of the WCAPS Human Rights Working Group that works to provide professional development to, amplify the voices of, and increase leadership of women of color in the field of human rights. Before becoming the HRWG co-chair, she was assisting with the WCAPS Art Forum program where she helped develop graphics and video clips of the podcast. At Beyond the Bomb, she is a Spring 2021 Fellow where she learns about the nuclear weapons system, advocates for nuclear nonproliferation, and learns skills in digital organization.
