Carolyn Washington

Carolyn Washington is a Colonel (Retired) from the U.S. Army, Military Attache’. She is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Global Gender Studies at the State University of New York in Buffalo, NY. Carolyn is the former Chair of the Women, Peace and Security Working Group at AFRICOM. She has a Masters in Women's and Gender Studies at Rutgers University, a Masters of Strategic Studies at the U.S. Army War College, and a Masters in National Security Affairs at the Naval Postgraduate School
