Hoda Hawa

Hoda Hawa is the Social Impact Manager at Participant Media. Prior to that, Hoda was the Director of Policy & Advocacy at the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC). Hoda led the organization’s policy goals based on MPAC's policy agenda (short – and long-term) with a specific focus on Capitol Hill, federal agencies and civil society. She engaged members of Congress and their staff on legislation and current affairs, and to that end, she organized briefings on various domestic and foreign policy issues for the Capitol Hill and federal agency communities. Hoda researched and wrote policy memorandum, papers and statements on key domestic and foreign policy issues including: intersection of national security and civil liberties, immigration, religious freedom and human rights, and human security. She has a M.A. in Ethics, Peace and Global Affairs from American University.
