Andrea Pimentel

Andrea manages the En Voz Alta mentorship program for Latinas in peace and security. She is originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela, but grew up in Weston, FL. Venezuela’s current political landscape and ongoing humanitarian crisis sparked her interest in international relations. Andrea has worked on the Hillary for America campaign and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) in South Florida. She moved to Washington D.C. to intern for Mercy Corps Policy and Advocacy team and most recently completed a legislative internship for her Congresswoman, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
