What are some interesting details about yourself you'd like to share with WCAPS' membership?

  1. I am from sunny South Florida! I am also an avid reader, foodie, and proud Jamaican-American.

  2.  What project(s) are you working on, and how does it reflect your passion?

    1. I am currently a program manager and research associate with the Southeast Asia Program at CSIS. I have my hand in most of my program's events and projects focusing on U.S. partnerships and alliances in Southeast Asia. Most recently, I have been planning the logistics for the ASEAN Leadership Forum event series, the premier Washington venue for senior officials from Southeast Asian countries to address today’s pressing issues before a Washington, D.C.-based policy audience.

The most recent events I have planned featured remarks from Secretary of Foreign Affairs Enrique Manalo and President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. from the Republic of the Philippines. I love what I do; There's never a boring day when you are analyzing Southeast Asia! Southeast Asia is vital to the United States' interests, and I am excited to see the region get more attention from the Biden administration. I appreciate being in a position that allows me to learn something new every day, and discuss why the region remains relevant and vital to U.S. strategy in the Indo-Pacific.
