Ambassador Bonnie D. Jenkins
Founder and Executive Director
Ambassador Jenkins is the Founder and Executive Director of WCAPS and a distinguished expert in arms control, nonproliferation, and international security. She previously served as U.S. Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security, becoming the first African American Under Secretary. Across decades of public service, she has led major efforts to address weapons of mass destruction, threat reduction, global health security, and international diplomacy. Her leadership continues to shape WCAPS’ mission to expand the voice, visibility, and influence of women of color in peace and security. Read more here.
Andreanna Mond
As a bridge builder, Andreanna's career aspirations and applications lay in cultivating connections between people that will create collaborative professional opportunities, confront biases, and engender dialogue and exchange opportunities that are ethnically, economically, and ethically diverse.

Chief Financial OfficerZuella Evans
F. Zuella Evans is the Chief Financial Officer at WCAPS, bringing over 20 years of experience in nonprofit accounting, tax, and financial management. She provides strategic oversight of budgeting, grant compliance, and financial reporting to support the organization’s mission. Zuella is also the founder of Net-Integrity LLC, where she works with nonprofits and women-owned businesses to build strong, compliant financial systems. She holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Strayer University
Development OfficerAnnaleah Westerhaug
With an interdisciplinary background in sociology, anthropology, and development studies - and experience in national security research - Annaleah brings a strong analytical lens and collaborative approach to her work at WCAPS. She supports fundraising, partnerships, research proposals, and strategic initiatives that help strengthen the organization’s reach and long term impact. Her work reflects a commitment to thoughtful collaboration and creating opportunities that support women of color in peace and security spaces.
Dr. Nola Haynes
Dr. Nola Haynes is Senior Advisor and Chief Strategist at WCAPS, where she leads strategic initiatives focused on hard security, arms control, and outer space governance. A scholar-practitioner specializing in space security, deterrence, and strategic competition, her work examines how power, inequality, and emerging technologies shape global security architecture. She has a longstanding commitment to advancing women and girls in security and defense spaces, working to expand access, leadership pathways, and representation in fields traditionally closed to them.

Jada Quinland
Jada is a Caribbean American grounded in faith, curiosity, and a deep love for the natural world -elements that quietly shape her thought leadership and critical lens. Her journey with WCAPS began as a Pipeline Fellow in 2022 and unfolded into full-time service. Now a Program Manager leading outward-facing initiatives, she anchors her work in thoughtful analysis, equity-centered values, and a steadfast commitment to women and communities of color globally.

Communications OfficerLourdes Sanchez
As a Communications Strategist, Lourdes is driven by a desire to be part of work that is larger than herself, using storytelling to connect, uplift, and amplify communities across the globe. At WCAPS, Lourdes enjoys the opportunity to bring this purpose to life by advancing the organization’s mission and helping elevate the voices and experiences of women of color into meaningful pathways for impact.

Candace Page
Candace Page has a proven track record of optimizing program efficiency, leading cross-functional teams, and developing strategic initiatives to enhance health outcomes, and has spent the beginning of her career refining processes. She is an innovative project manager, leading public health initiatives across several areas including emergency response, diversity & inclusion, injury prevention, and corporate wellness. Candace’s love of medicine merged with her interest in Women’s Studies after expanding her undergraduate coursework.
