Assa Traoré is an international figure in the fight against racism and police violence in France. French activist, mother of three children, she is the sister of Adama Traoré, who died in police custody in 2016, and the founder of the "Truth For Adama Committee", advocating for truth and justice in her brother's case. Often related to the Black Lives Matter movement by the international media and compared to Angela Davis, whom she met in 2018 and received support from, Assa is the recipient of the 2020 BET Global Good Award.
Dr. Mame-Fatou Niang is an Associate Professor of French and Francophone Studies at Carnegie Mellon University and the author of Identités Françaises (Brill, 2019). Her recent research examines the development of Afro-French identities. Her work has been featured in edited volumes and academic journals among which Contemporary French Civilization, Présences Francophones and "Racismes de France" (out 10/12/2020 at La Découverte). Mame is also a photographer and the co-author of a photo series on Black French Islam. In 2015, she co-directed “Mariannes Noires: Mosaïques Afropéennes”, a film in which seven Afro-French women investigate the pieces of their mosaic identities, and unravel what it means to be Black and French, Black in France. Dr. Niang is currently working on a second manuscript tentatively titled Mosaica Nigra: Blackness in 21st-century France.
Linh-Lan Dao is French journalist at FranceInfo: Télévision - a French Public Information TV Channel, for the fact-checking TV Show: "True or Fake". She is also the author of the chronicles "Draw My News" which cover the news through cartoons with a touch of humour and manga inspiration. Since 2017, Linh-Lan Dao has regularly taken the public space to report and call out the Asian antiracism. Her video "Do not tell me tching tchong anymore" has been a success reaching over 3 million views through social media platforms, contributing to the fight against stereotypes and racism towards the members of the Asian communities.
Saara Bouhouche is a humanitarian, peace and security expert and an anti-racism and gender equality advocate. Additionally to her role as Co-Director of WCAPS France, Saara is a Strategic Advisor and Partner at Women For Women France. She is a multidisciplinary activist engaged on the topics of racism, socio-economic justice and peacebuilding. She is the founder of Ouat? Productions, a French non-profit dedicated to combat poverty and exclusion and promote peace and social dialogue through arts and culture. Saara has an extensive background leading emergency humanitarian response programs in conflict and post-conflict settings globally, and has lived and worked in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, North America and the Caribbean.

Elle est la fondatrice et la porte-parole du Comité Vérité Pour Adama, qui réclame justice dans l'affaire juridique de son frère. Souvent rapprochée du mouvement Black Lives Matter dans les médias internationaux et comparée à Angela Davis, qu'elle a rencontrée en 2018 et dont elle a reçu le soutien, Assa est la récipiendaire du BET Global Good Award 2020.
Mame-Fatou Niang est Maîtresse de conférences à Carnegie Mellon University (Pennsylvanie, USA). Elle travaille sur la question noire, l'antiracisme et l'universalisme en France. Mame s'intéresse également aux questions urbaines dans la littérature française contemporaine. En 2015, elle coréalise Mariannes Noires, un documentaire sur les parcours de sept Afro-Françaises, ainsi qu’une série-photo sur des musulmans parisiens (Black, French and Muslim). Contributrice pour Slate, Rosa Luxemburg et JacobinMag, Mame a récemment publié Identités Françaises (Brill, 2019), un ouvrage qui interroge les processus de marginalisation et de cooptation dans la communauté nationale à travers une étude de discours sur les banlieues.

Productions, une association française dédiée à la lutte contre la pauvreté et l'exclusion et engagée dans la promotion de la paix et du dialogue social à travers les arts et la culture. Saara possède une vaste expérience dans la gestion de réponse humanitaire d'urgence en zones de conflits et de post-conflits et à vécu et travaillé en Europe, au Moyen-Orient, en Afrique, en Asie, en Amérique du Nord et aux Caraïbes.
